What Makes the Estimate Faster
None of this is required, and if you do not know any of it we will work it out on site. But if you have it to hand, the conversation gets a lot more useful.
What the space is. Attic, garage conversion, addition, whole house, shop, metal building or commercial unit. The assembly type drives most of the recommendation.
Roughly how big. Square footage of the area, or the size of the house if it is a whole-home job. An approximate number is fine.
What is there now. Blown insulation, batts, nothing at all, or you genuinely have no idea. All three are normal answers.
Whether anything has gone wrong up there. A past roof leak, rodents, or insulation that was disturbed by another trade. That changes whether the right job is a top-up or a removal and replacement, and it changes the price.
Where your air handler and ductwork run. If they are in the attic, that is often the single most important fact about the whole project.
What Happens After You Get in Touch
We arrange a time to look at the building. The assessment is free and there is no obligation attached to it. You then get a written estimate that names the product, the installed thickness and the area being covered, so you can compare it line for line against any other bid you are holding.
If the honest answer is that you need less work than you expected, or that insulation is not your main problem, we will tell you that.
